Questions about the course

The assignment I enjoyed doing the most was the mask creation.  This assignment was so open ended, the possibilities of what to create was endless.  While creating my mask I was allowed to do nearly anything but after taking a few days to decide what really represents me I was able to choose the thin blue line, which represents law enforcement and the fight against crime.  Also this assignment you did not need to be really artistic, which I am not and my final piece turned out okay.

There was not really an assignment that I did not like to do.  But if I had to choose an assignment it would be our art curator piece.  The only reason that this piece was tough was because it was very time consuming.  Artstor.com was running very slow and it took a lot of time to get the information about each piece and create multiple slides.  Also finding the idea to create our project on was so broad it was hard to decide what to do.

I have used Angel for many years.  I received my associates degree at ECC and they also used Angel so I am very familiar how to use it.  I enjoy using Angel because I like to keep everything in order throughout the semester and be able to print everything out.  Using Angel allows me to do so and I felt very organized this semester, not only in this course but my other 4 classes as well.

I thought that this course was designed nicely.  In the other online course I took this semester all we did was take a quiz every week, which is not very productive or enjoyable.  This class I enjoyed that every week there was similar assignments as well as new assignment.  The projects were enjoyable to do and well as watching different types of videos and taking quizzes.  The amount of work in the course was a little surprising.  I did not expect there to be so many weekly assignments but it was not a bad thing because if you did not do well your grade was not affective that much.  There would not be anything I would add to this course.  Out of all the classes I've taken at Buff State and ECC this course seemed to cover all aspects of art from what I understand as well as cover the entire textbook (which rarely ever happens).

Yes, I would recommend this course to my peers as long as they are willing to do the workload.  As I stated there was a lot of work in this course but as long as you have time management and free time during the week there is no reason not to do well in this course.

I enjoyed taking this course very much.  I feel that I have learned a lot about art and all expectations I had coming into this course were fulfilled.  I thought that you were a great teacher and was very accommodating to your students.  Your response to emails about grades and concerns was quick and insightful.
